I liked the hinge and latch very much. Two things, however. First, offering the jig with the packet, in my opinion would be really a good idea. Fortunately, I had a jig for use with corner dowels that sufficed. Without it, would have been much more frustrating. Second, it may just be me but making it to fit 1/2 inch conduit pipe might also help. I understand that piper maker and others emphasize the 3/4 inch but the 1/2 is what I typically use. Its cheaper, lighter, and more available.
This was very easy to install even without the jig. The gate hinges are very smooth and the latch works great. Haven’t had it long enough to comment on longevity though.
Great solution instead of trying to use regular hinges on round conduit. Reasonable cost too!
This worked perfect for our raised planter bed enclosure. Here in Colorado we had to protect the plants from elk, deer, rabbits, and others. Never worked with conduit pipe before, but it was easy.
