Directions for Assembly: Cut antlers about 1/8" below the burr, and parallel to the burr. Use a 5/32nd" drill bit to drill into the antler base 2 inches deep. Drill hole as perpendicular to the base as possible and in the middle of the base. Using the provided screws, attach the adapters to the base of the antlers as shown in the images. DO NOT Use an Impact driver, as this might result in broken screws. Use a normal drill, or a handheld screw driver or a ratchet. Insert antlers into skull and adjust rotation of each antler as necessary. Due to the size of elk antlers, it may be necessary to sand the base of one or both antlers in order to properly adjust the angle at which the antler mounts on the skull. Use a low grit sanding disc on a grinder for best results. Depending on the size of the antlers, it may be hard to get the adapter screw tight enough to keep the antlers from spinning once inserted into the skull. If this happens, use some epoxy to secure the adapter to the base of the antler after you are happy with the alignment of the antlers on the skull.
